Advise the Green Team
At Reginald F. Lewis High School, the Falcons Fly Green Team is composed of an elite group of students from various backgrounds and skill sets; who come together to express common interests in helping other people and making the community a more green and sustainable environment. These students are very compassionate about their community members and are willing to help anybody in need, whether they ask or not. Every initiative that the Green Team has taken an interest in has been student-driven, and the team is seen as a distinguished group by our school. Meetings are held every other Thursday unless otherwise noted. Our team has cultivated many valuable partnerships in the area and carry a respectable and professional relationship with them. Partnerships that the Green Team have worked with are: Baltimore Orchard Project, Howard University Alternative Spring Break, Help-Up Baltimore, Hungry Harvest produce stand, MAEOE, YMCA, Po' Boys Garden Center, Tractor Supply Co., MAEF, and the LEAD Smoke-Free Campaign funded by Baltimore Health Department.
